Our Commitment
Skin Body Beauty With Tess is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all visitors to our website. We strive to provide a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology.
Accessibility Features
We have implemented the following features to improve accessibility:
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements can be accessed using a keyboard
- Alt text: Images include descriptive alternative text for screen readers
- Semantic HTML: We use proper heading structure and semantic elements
- Colour contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG colour contrast guidelines
- Responsive design: The website adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels
- Focus indicators: Visible focus states for keyboard navigation
- ARIA labels: Screen reader labels for icons and interactive elements
Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations:
- Third-party content: Our booking system (Fresha) and embedded Google Maps are third-party services. Their accessibility is managed by those providers.
- Older browsers: Some features may not work optimally in older browsers. We recommend using the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
Salon Accessibility
Our treatment room is located in Suite 5 at Noram House. If you have any specific accessibility requirements or mobility concerns, please contact us before your appointment and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
